FRRO Visa Extension

Foreign nationals (excluding Overseas Citizens of India) who intend to stay in India for more than 180 days are required to register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of their arrival. This is a mandatory step as per the Indian government’s immigration regulations. Pakistani nationals, however, are subject to stricter rules and must complete their registration within 24 hours of entering the country, regardless of the duration of their stay. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this registration requirement.
